Q. Is there a quiet study area in the library, or anywhere in the school?

There is a quiet reading room in the library, room L15. It is near the Building 7 elevator. 

There are also 8 small group study rooms for students. Bring your current photo ID to the service desk and you can check out a study room for two hours. If there's a waiting list, groups of 2 or more have priority. They can be quiet in non-peak hours.

There is a sound proof study booth located near the shelves with call numbers in the 800s.  The booth will seat one person and can be checked out for two hours when you present your current photo ID at the service desk.

You might also like the individual study desks built in between the columns at the back of the library, behind the nonfiction collection. It's quiet there, too.
