Libsearch would be a good place to find articles on that topic. It searches most of the library's databases at one time. Try this search on year-round schools as a subject.

Once you have your results, use the Source Types limit and checkmark magazines, academic journals, news, or whichever type of article you need.

You can also limit to Full-Text to find the articles you can read right away on your screen.

If you are writing an argumentative or persuasive paper and you need to find the pros and cons of year round schooling, take a look at the databases listed on the English 1101 LibGuide, which I'll attach. Opposing Viewpoints will be especially helpful for that topic.
