Thanks for your question! One way to find peer-reviewed journals on your topic is to use LibSearch.  LibSearch searches most of the library's databases at one time and you can limit to journal articles that are peer-reviewed.

Try a search for "native americans" or "american indians" as keywords and history as a subject.

Once you have your results, use the Refine Results on the left side to limit to Full Text and Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals.

You can apply other limits to your search to get more relevant results. Each time you limit, you'll get fewer results.
