The United States Census Bureau collects data on that and publishes it as a table titled Educational Attainment by Selected Characteristics. To find the information, search the Census Bureau site for "educational attainment by selected characteristics"  The characteristics include sex, race, and age.

Read the tables carefully. Numbers for population are reported per thousand (for example, 204,579 represents 204,579,000). The numbers are also reported as percentages of the population.

You'll can also download the information as a spreadsheet using the detailed tables on the Current Population Survey on Educational Attainment page.
