Yes, there is a quiet reading room in the library, room L15.

There are also six small group study rooms for students. Bring your Tartan card to the service desk and you can check out a study room for two hours. If there's a waiting list, groups of 2 or more have priority.

You might also like the individual study desks built in between the columns at the back of the library, behind the nonfiction collection. It's quiet there, too.
