Yes, you can borrow books from other colleges. Sinclair is a member of OhioLINK (over 100 locations in Ohio) and you can search their catalog at https://olc1.ohiolink.edu/search/. When you find the item you want, make sure at least one location has the status "available" and click on the green request button. Put in your last name, Tartan/Sinclair ID number (9 digits long, add zeros to the front if it is shorter), the institution you are sending it to, and the pickup location. If you do it all correctly, you will get a notice saying it's been processed. It generally takes 3-5 business days to get to Sinclair.

You can also go to the college where the item is located if you're able. If it is "available", you can use your Tartan card to check it out. If you do not have a Tartan card, a government photo ID can be used but you will need to know your 9 digit Sinclair/Colleague ID number for them to look you up.

If you are unable to get it to work, just send us an email at ask@sinclair.libanswers.edu or call us at 937-512-3004 and we can help.
